A few words from the garden about what’s growing, what’s ahead, and the little moments in between.
A Crisp Fall Day
It’s a crisp, beautiful fall day, and Laura’s grandsons are hard at work planting fall bulbs for spring blooms.
We’re excited to channel our inner Laura as we plan next season’s bouquets and enjoy the simple joys of living in such a beautiful place—something Laura always appreciated.
Still Growing With Her
Laura left behind handwritten notes and seeds she had chosen for another season. In those pages and little packets, there is still so much of her: what she learned, what she loved, and what she hoped would bloom next.
And judging by the zinnia seeds she left behind, there was always room for a few more flowers.
In her notes, she left behind guidance for us: what to plant, when to begin, and the lessons she learned along the way. We’re finding our way into a new season with her experience to guide us.
We’ll be the ones planting, watering, and learning as we go, with a little of her faith taking root alongside the flowers.
Prepping the beds for tulips
The stand is closed for the season, and we’re looking ahead to the next one. Preparing the beds for fall-planted tulips is part of that beginning.
Laura’s garden and the flowers she chose are at the heart of what comes next. We’re continuing from those roots while making room for new flowers and another season of bouquets at the stand.
We’ll share garden notes here as the seasons unfold. For current availability and opening updates, visit Bloom Alerts.
